I'm probably sure many of you's have heard about the game League of Legends and know it for its cartoon graphics and its more casual, laid-back approach it has compared to games such as DoTA, which is where League of Legend's was originated from.
League of Legends is a game enjoyed by over 10 million people and has been steadily growing by popularity over the past few years. This game has been awarded by many game specialists such as IGN as the best strategy game and best free to play from Goldenjoystick awards.
I have been playing this game since the start of this year and enjoy it casually. It was a game, unlike DoTA, which actually had an easy learning curve so that you didn't start off as shit.
The game is simple, firstly, you have to choose a champion once you have queued for a game. This champion can be any champion which is free this week (there are a selected number of champions which are free each week and change the next week and so forth), which you have bought with IP (currency in the game which is obtained by playing games) and champions which you have bought with RP (currency which is bought with real-life money).
Once you have chosen your champion, you must wait for the game to load. Then, once it has loaded, you must buy your items from the fountain which is where you start off. These items are bought according to what champion you are playing and the role in which you are playing.
When you are done which buying your starting items, you must pick a lane to start off at. The lane you pick will probably be a duo-lane with a partner (either bottom or top lane) and will have to work together to fight the other two (unless someone in their team is jungling which is a whole other subject).
I really can't be bothered explaining the rest, but all you should know is you work with your team to get to the enemy nexus which is being defended by the enemy team and also the turrets which you have to destroy to get to the nexus.
Anyways, have a look at some game-play of the game and see if you might enjoy it. You must know that it is free and you can just play it whenever you want, just download it and sign-up.
Can't post the website but just google it.
