What's your favourite class?

Initally I ran with the Engineer, since there were so many vehicles but now that I have a played it a bit more, I'm gravitating more towards the Support class. I'm enjoying making the enemy duck and giving enough time for my squad mates to advance further towards the objective. Great fun.

im just wondering but on BF3 is recon class any good? what do you get to do , i don't know much about this game maybe you could explain like can you get kill streaks with air support ect but im interested in recon class if you explain a little bit about that to me thanks

There are no killstreaks in BF. rather you unlock weapons, weapon attachments and other items to use in your loadouts. I don't play Recon so I'm not sure what the various items do. I know that recon can deploy forward spawn points early on, and so far most that I have seen usually place them in the stupidiest places - or right out in the open so you get cut down as soon as you spawn.

oh right well when i get the game i think im going be a sniper and try get really good at it and also being Assault class looks fun too.

In COD i've always been a run and gun, capture the objective type of player but in BF i seem to gravitate towards the sniping class...maybe running and gunning is waaayyy to hard for me

I've really struggled with sniping in BF3. Not sure why since I was really good in Bad Company, I think the lens glint makes it a little harder to snipe in this.

Yeah agreed. Its definately not easy...but its is very satisfying when you get the kills tho

I dont think the assualt class is as useful as it was in BFBC2. Even with the medic kits now in BF3 people only really give themselves med pack and hardly ever revive anyone. Think personal the Engineer class is the most useful and most used in BF3

ohh right, well i guess im going to try master the recon class first since i like the idea of beening a sniper

Yeah. I'm surprised at how little people resuss in BF3. I'll try and bring anyone and everyone back to keep the front line up and going - besides that's a 100 points right there.

i take my favorite class back, since actually playing the game i like support class the best

It's funny. Before I starting playing this, I really would have said my primary class was going to be support.

Now I tend to first and foremost engineering when there are maps with vehicles - m15 mines rules.

Operation Metro - I'll run either support or assault depending on how I'm feeling.
