1st map pack

So with the ps3's 1st map pack dropped this evening I thoight we could discuss what people think and help the non premium members decide of they wanna buy them (BTW how much are they asking for the maps)

Personally I don't mind them so far, pizzar reminds me a lot of the long golf course map from black ops with the ability to go round the map behind everything, but its defiantly a campers haven so many books and crannys to hide in and pick people off, also I found the different hights of the map to be incorrectly used, they don't provide good vantage points to pick off those below or even further down the map.
But its a good close quarters fight map with smgs reigning here, had a few good games whilst I played for the short time.

Liberation, reminds me of a level from the original killzone, where its in a park lol.
I expected it to bee more open but there is a lot of cover and also some very useless areas, like both ends of the map, don't really seem to be involved much.
A snipers paradise and those food enough may not even have to move between kills as you can get great vantage points. I used the mk14 and had some strong games, but I found the spawns to be slightly off, maybe just me

Overall, would have like 3 more like the old days, but next month will see another map dropped which is good, I'm just happy we get a change up from the older maps for a while.

What's everyone else's thoughts?

I think the xbox already have the next map and its called over watch. Its suposed to be like highrise from modern warfare 2

yea next map is called overwatch. i havnt played the maps yet but i watch some gameplay on youtube from the xbox players. piazza looks better coming from the bottom as u can headglitch from the stairs and i dont really like the idea of liberation as its too open for snipers.

i like the way they hav given two maps for the two typed of players.

everwatch is supposed to be the same, long and short parts.

so is it worth getting cod elite premium or not

it is for the clan ops and map packs. its cheaper to get the map pack through it rather than buying them all seperatly. i dont really like the 2 new maps but im really looking forward to overwatch
