There'll be a whole lot more videos coming in the next couple of weeks, when CCP finally reveal full game play at the EVE Fanfest in Iceland, so we'll really get to see what's what soon.

I'm getting more and more excited for this game to be released. It has such great potential. And fucking ace to hear that they're giving 1v1 through 24v24. We're definitely getting a clan thing going. We need an awesome mercenary group name! =D

When does Dust 514 come out again? Was just think that if we are going to be recruiting for this game (Which i highly anticipate we will be) that as soon as the Dust forums become active we get a recruitment post straight up because i can see this been a very very popular game.

It appears on the wiki that we are looking at a summer release. I think we ought to not start recruiting 'til under a month before release, only because there is the possibility of over-planning something and suffocating our potential growth when the game is first released.

I wasnt saying recruit now. I was saying on ce the games released obviously the forums will be up and running too so then once that is all up and running then recruit but i wouldnt see the probabky recruting before then at all

Most groups probably will recruit ahead, so we ought to, too! =P

But its just where to post the recruitment thread for people to know where it is so prob best to wait

I agree that we need to recruit for this game, since it could be huge, but without any forums to do so (CCP still haven't created them yet) I am loath to start actively doing, especially since it could still be up to another 5 months away.

We also need to think up an awesomely cool name for our Mercenary Group. I think I'll create a new thread specifically for it and we'll see what comes from it.

I think me could get are stuff together and maybe got the whole dust 514 section ready so when the game is released we can be straight in there with are recruitment post. Sound like a plan?

This is gonna be a good direction for the clan I think. A game like this also opens up new directions for the Youtube channel and getting some new faces around here. Let me know what I can do to help!

The EVE online universe is one of the biggest online communities out there so i think this side of the franchise is going to work very very well and we definetly need to be apart of it. I agree with bow aswell that it could be good for the youtube channel and get some more exposure for the channel and the clan too

Absolutely. We also need to keep an eye out for when the Dust forums go live as well and be in there and active as soon as poss as well.

I agree that we should try and get the DUST Forums looking good. We can even bring it up so that the DUST forum is sitting at the top, rather than having to scroll too far down to find it as well.

Yeah for sure. Think we need to have a reorganise of the games and with need bumping upto the top and all that good stuff. Yeah ill keep an eye out for the forums going live as im sure you will cas. I reckon this is gunna get a lot of new member to are forum/clan so it might be worth trying to get a few game leader sorted out. Yeah i know were a casual clan but it doesnt hurt to be prepared a little

It could at least make the clan slightly more accessible as the game is entirely free, so no one is limited to whether or not they have the game. And it should open the door to new members looking for a place to play XD So excited =D

absolutely. I expect this will be getting a heck of a lot of players. I mean, who doesn't turn down a free AAA title. What's the bet, this game will make more money through microtransactions than just through normal purchases.

Yeah the free to play seems to be the way forward and the route alot of developers are going these days.

I don't quite know if the microtransactions will outsource a basic initial-pay system. But it does add a steady source of cash and also completely misses the shortcomings of Piracy! If you pay for stuff in the game but give the game for free, what is there to pirate? XD

Exactly Phil. Apparently microtransactions are huge in the asian market and generate millions of dollars of income every year, so it is obviously a good revenue stream. I like how CCP are positioning themselves though - the microtransactions aren't so much things that you can't get in game, rather they help you get there a little faster.
