New map pack

Rumour has it they are releasing a new map pack that call the "nostalgia" mpa pack and will include some of the old maps from mw2.

Anyone got any insight into this? truth or lies?

If they are going to bring back old maps, which would you like to see come back?

Personally i think terminal will come back if this is true.

It is rumored that Modern Prestige has revealed the names of maps for Modern Warfare 3′s first map pack. The names are Nostalgic, Concrete, Italy, Morning Wood, Overwatch (Spec Ops map from Modern Warfare 2) and Park.
It has been speculated that Infinity Ward is working on a map pack that will be released just in time for Christmas that would include at least two maps from Call of Duty 4 and Modern Warfare 2.

i liked highrise and estate from mw2 and cod4 i loved bloc and crash but i do think maps were a lot better in the old games then in mw3 as they are too small and useless for snipers and no maps really stand out to me as they did in mw2 when i first got it.

I agree with white, hopefully they do bring a map pack with old maps from previous modern warfare's as I was more satisfied with those maps than on mw3

I think the maps are ok, i think the spawn system is what is messed up. The maps are alot bigger than they play. You just get spawned right ontop of players....

yeah its annoying spawing ontop of opposition all the time :l

ive heard a lot about this map pack, but it seems like it would be kinda lazy just to release new maps... :/

Yeah forgot about shipment... that would be cool. I hope they bring two back then add two new ones, or i too think it is just lazy programming.....

Personally, I think think bringing back old maps is lazy work on the part of the Devs. They are making players shell out money for the same map twice. I stopp having issues with this kind of thing, if the Devs have spent time actually changing them in a big way. The Back to Karkand DLC for BF3 for instance aren't just old maps with a new reskin, but look different, and are likely to play quite differently as well.

If the old maps are literally a reskin with the new game Engine (Is it a new engine?) then I would be a little pissed paying for Elite to simply get a map that the Dev's really haven't done anything else to it.

Definitely agree that they charge way too much for map packs. I reckon each time they release new maps, they should throw in a couple of oldies for free (or at least say its for free so we feel better :p)
