DLC for bf3

hey guys

anyone heard of any dlc's ( ps3 ) on the way for the game map's new wepons any thing like that

nope, Tez, Big or Cas usually posts when updates are in

I ain't heard a thing through any of my grapevines. So no idea when any new DLC will be in.

Actually, whilst we're on the topic, what DLC is currently available? Physical Warfare, Back to Karkand...what else? =3

Back to Karkand is the only DLC released so far....but wait incoming news. 3 DLC packs have just been announced this morning.

Close Quarters
This pack includes four new maps and ten new weapons. The catch here is that all the infantry maps are set inside buildings, which removes vehicles from the equation. Close Quarters arrives in June, with Playstation 3 gamers getting the expansion a week early.

Armoured Kill
While DICE wouldn't go into detail about the pack, it said the expansion will include the largest map the team has ever designed. Armored Kill also delivers new vehicles, though DICE was tight-lipped about which ones we'll see. This should arrive sometime this fall (US time I guess)

End Game
They wouldn't divulge any information about the pack, but a promotional poster revealed a grizzled soldier holding a knife, so maybe new Story Content? Set for release in the US Winter.

Also PS3 players will be able to access the rent-a-server and setup their own server side games.

Interesting but i am seriously considering selling my copy of bf3 :S

Loving the information overload from Cas, where are your sources? I'm intrigued as to what 'serverside games' will entail. Will we finally get the infamous private servers? =D

I got this off IGN Phil and yes, I think the rent-a-server thing will equate to private servers.

Just cross checked that with some of the news the guys over at sNs are hearing and it looks like they will actually be private servers(yes!).

Private servers! Finally! Yes! Awesome! I'm so happy!

So how will they work out d'ya think...passwords? =D

I love non vehicle maps - they're my fav!

Closely followed by tank battles!

PS does this mean that the patch they've been discusing will be delayed to June???

Lol, the two most contrasting gameplay points, tank battles and non-vehicular combat XD

There's been no talk of delays so far so don't be too pessimistic!
