Distinguished Members (DMs) are Members who have gone beyond the call of duty when it comes to all things clan related. Becoming a Distinguished Member of the clan isn't easy though, requiring a member to represent the clan both ingame and outside the game, whether that be a regular contributor to the clan forums, recruiting new members to the clan, finding cool news items to share, and generally showing the world how cool The League of Casual Gamers is.
So, how can I become a Distinguished Member, you are probably asking yourself?
On the first of each month, an announcement will go out to all clan members asking for nominations for members to become a DM. You cannot nominate yourself for this, but hopefully your actions have spoken for you and somebody puts your name forward.
The Nominations must be PMed to Casamyr, not posted to the forums. NOTE: Nominations, must include the reason why you think this member should become a Distinguished Member of the clan.
The nominations shall be reviewed by myself and the clan admin to ensure that only those who meet the requirements go forward to the voting stage. Once the shortlist has been found, a poll will be created with Members names and the attached post will state the reason why this member should become an Distinguished Member of the clan and kudos that goes with it.
The Poll will run for 7 days and each clan member shall get 1 vote to vote for the member that they feel deserves the title of Distinguished Member.
1st - 5th: PM nominations to Casamyr. Remember: Members name and the reason why they deserve to be a Distinguished Member
6th - 7th: Nominatons Reviewed
7th: Global Announcement made to remind members of the upcoming DM vote.
8th - 14th: Voting Commences
15th: Distinguished Member announced.
