lag, hackers, overpowered akimbos, tiny maps, 43 million host changes, theatre mode doesnt't work and Elite website is terrible.

Are these free to Xbox players? And will it ever come to PS3? I'm fed up of the maps for MW3 already XD

Phillip, free to premium elite members both xbox and ps3, no release has been set for ps3 but if the last 2 games are anything to go by expect the maps on the Psn store from the 24th of Feb, a month after 360.

Just downloaded the elite app for android about 30mins ago and its not half bad, got a few shit reviews on the Android store about freezing and stuff but that's yet to happen to me.
I'm interested in the ability to change your custom classes on the app and it then sends it to your ps3 and changes the class for you, I've given it a shot so when I get home ill check it out and see if it actually works

No clan support on it tho which is the biggest blow, it would have been an awesome tool to use for the clan to incase communication between players on mw3 who aren't active on the forum.
Hopefully they will add it in an update, but knowing activision they will either make you pay for it or do it in a years time.

Downloaded the elite app the other day n was very disappointed all it has is career stats and find a friend thats all well and good but its called elite they should've just called it the MW3 app.

Where's all the event info or clan info or even links to the websites video's for friday night fights n such, they held off releasing it because the elite service wasn't ready for all the activity, the app probably doesn't even get the career data from elite servers as elite gets its data from the online servers

What about tablet users the app doesn't even resize for tablets on my sgs2 (almost 5 inch screen) the back button on the phone doesn't work in the app but it looks great, the bloody thing looks exactly the same on my acer tab (10.1 inch screen), it takes up not even a quarter of the screen and only in portrait mode the rest of the screen is white

Sorry if it sounds like i'm ranting a bit but I was just disappointed that they havn't thought about this app very well and the only way I can see elite info correctly is on a computer in a webpage because even the webpage doesn't load properly on android browsers

I like that I can see all my stats thats great and yes ok being able to push classes to MW3 is pretty good but I'd like to be able to see what events and ops are coming up and be able to enlist in them, see the comments on my clan, see my feeds and show people pics and vids i've uploaded and even have updates on the video's in elite tv

sorry again but the elite app could be so much better hopefully they will put some of these things into it eventually

Philip, yes and no, you can join elite for free but you miss out on some features. If you pay you then get all updates/map packs free, and can contribute to the clan ops (if they ever start) that's the premium membership about $60 aus a year.

Big time pissed that the app doesn't have clan support, as I was hoping to use that feature to promote mw3 within yhe clan and hopefully bring more onto the forums, as you have to open up elite on the comp or ps3 seperatly to use it.

Would have been great to have the app goin on the phone and being able to almost real time comment on the game to other members whilst still playing.

Hopefully activision picks up their act as they talked elite up something chronic and it has yet to deliver in my opinion.

Just started playing this game online and it makes me want to fucking kill someone...
UAV/Advanced UAV every 5 seconds, Dickheads with sniper rifles, Call of duty loving to group all the new players against the prestiged players, lag, horrid matchmaking and fucking kids.

I rage quitted the party with you the lag just drove me over the edge with about 20 F bombs

doesnt matter man, my whole PS froze about 10 mins after you left because of shitty servers and i just turned it off. Plus im at mums house and the controller i left here is terrible. Was getting so annoyed with it.

So I was playing today with a friend, splitscreen multiplayer. Has anyone else experienced their PS3 grinding to a halt during gameplay? It wasn't lag, it was literally like the PS3 was dying on me XD

yep. same thing happened to me last night in multi. Plus my lag was horrible last night.

Hey guys, so I was playing with conscript and cat and I was using the spas 12 and it really made mw3 fun again. I wasnt doing great struggling to go positive but it was so fun I encourage others to try some unorthodox classes like a shotgun other them the striker

I should try and switch up my guns every now and then but I feel so awkward without a rifle.

I wouldn't say going to work as it dropped my KD from 1.5 to 1.45 but is was definently worth it

Going positive with a shotty (that's not the striker) is not easy.

Although with the patch a couple of weeks ago it is easier

hey guys, so i was reading this thread from the start and was wondering if there has been any improvements on the Elite app since release?

also, i note there was quite a bit of rage about all the things wrong with mw3 (and i agree there are lots) but if you havent played the game since the early days, i highly suggest you give it another go. the clan members playing cod has increased a lot since i first joined and the game is much more enjoyable than it was at release (i hated the game for the first month)

also, if you currently ARE playing mw3 and have a mic/headset, i do encourage you to use it (as we all look at Moose).

I know for myself, i have had a headset for ages, but before joining the clan i would always have it on mute and never say anything whilst playing. now i talk quite a bit (even if it is just me complaining etc) but doing so has made me get to know other members better and the experience of playing mor enjoyable.

So thats my message for today, if you havent played mdubtrey in awhile, give it a whirl you might surprise yourself and have a good time and if you have a mic, dont be shy, say hi to the rest of us as we all rage quit.
