Intergame battle Royal

I am one of those who has both MW3 and BF3. Was thinking the other day might be good fun, to have some of our boys (MW3) jump in with some of your boys (BF3) and have an intergalactic, interplanetary, interclan, intergame battle royal.

Split up into two teams of players. One team of players who consider themselves COD and the other who consider themselves BF players and have a game or two in each title. (obviousy people would need both games or be able to get a copy of each game)

Something like 2 games of (rush? is that a game type?) on BF3 and two games of domination on MW3.

To decide who is the ultimate FPS fighter... not really, wouldnt want it to be too competitive, just a chance for the BF kids to meet the MW3 kids. I feel like sometimes we are two clans and the isnt much inter mixing. Would be good to do it over a game of friendly chase the tank and get sniped in the head by someone you didnt even see or a game of mw3.

i have always hoped we could convince some of the BF players to join us in ames, even if its in a third game that everyone might have (black ops? - even tho its cod, its nothing like MW3 and everyone should be familiar with it by now)
but i am happy to go and rent a copy of BF3 to join in on the madness as everyone laughs at my chopper flying skillz!

i think when DUST comes out, seeing as its free, we will probably be able to do involve the clan as a whole more, but a BF3 vs MW3 challenge sounds great!

Think its an awesome idea ! , I have been looking at getting BF3 but as i know Dust 514 is coming out soon am a bit reluctant because dont want to fork out $ for a new game then when dust comes out put most of my time into that ! (think CCP are planning something ?? around E3 which is early/mid june)
Would be keen to rent a copy as well but not sure it would work because think BF3 has a online gaming code with each copy of the game which can only be used once which no doubt would of been used by someone who previously rented the game, is this true BF3 players ?

Yep it is true that you need a online code,so renting bf3 is not a good idea.Maybe ask friends if they own a copy.
I used to play the older cod titles a lot online on the Xbox,then the 360,but after the 3rd ring of death it git slung through the window.Bought a ps3 with bf3 and mw3,played mw3 for about a week and did not like it,can't tell you why really,just did not float my boat,hence my switch to bf3 with COD in my name tag.
But the idea of bridging the gap is a good one. Willing to give mw3 another try possibly!!

I felt disappointed at first with MW3, probably due to the hype that was around it prior too the release lol. They have fixed alot of the nagging problems that it had on release, but it still nags me from time to time with the silly little things that happen to me lol.

Yep I know what you mean,thinking about it to me it played so differently from the other titles. The game mechanics felt screwed up, no other game can make me rage so quickly. So be warned

yeah, i think there is a large learning curve to MW3, you need to get used to expecting people to come at you at a constant pace. its was IW wanted, something fast paced and although i think they went a lil overboard (spawns are still fcked) its like all games, once you know the maps, players tendancies and spawns it becomes ok.
the trick i think is to forget the games that came before and accept it for the unforgiving beast it is..... but the rage will still be there.... lol

bf doesnt really float my boat, or fuel my fire, so not 4 me. but LT sounds like a really good idea 4 the people who hav both

The whole broken spawn thing in MW3 is the main reason i rage. But i guess you cant win them all eh?

On a side note, ive been thinking about getting Black Ops, worth it?

u can get a cheap ebay copy in preparation for blops 2. but blops was my 1st COD and it was a great 1 to start on. i will hit a game up with u deff if u get it. im sure alot of people will say the same

What a novel idea! Sadly, however, there is a reason we're so segregated ;D

But I think it would be worth trying, and would double our chances of getting a game going given that we're opening up the player-base. It would make more sense to integrate teams, as otherwise there will be a clear unfair advantage having all the regulars on one team =P

But put me down as a possibility. I'm always really busy at the moment =\

me neither and it is on of the few games I have played that just gets me so frustrated that I throw my controller, so count me out sorry. Brilliant idea though.

Maybe it might work better to do a Blops and BFBC2 night instead? Might have more people owning and les slikely to throw a controller

how about uncharted 2 or 3?

i have never played multiplayer on them, but given they are some of the best games available on ps3, its a good chance everyone owns a copy (and if you dont, what are you waiting for?)

also, as they are 3rd player and so different from BF3/MW3 there wont be a particular advantage for anyone (unless they have played a lot of uncharted MP)

Good idea with the neutral ground guys,I own a copy if bfbc2 and u3.

Well that counts me out lol.

I only have Bad company 1, but thats ok, i could possibly hire them out if the event is confirmed.

Lol, who has seen the youtube video of the brother hiding behind the coach in the back of the room and pushing the ps button on the second controller while his brother is playing MW3?

BFBC2 or U3 works for me aswell

Plus no matter how frustrated i get with gaming *and i do lol* i would never do that and waste my money having to buy another controller

Yelling is a much healthier way of killing frustration during gameplay. I haven't any of the other games suggested so I don't think I'll be able to participate in those ideas. Sorry DX

bfbc2!!!!!!! bring it bitches!!! im actually shitloads better at bfbc2 than bf3 or mw3 not to mention i cant snipe and knife like a BAAWWSSS!!! well i could when i was still playing the games :/ i think im a bit rusty now though.
