Minecraft Snapshots

To explain briefly what a 'snapshot' is. It is the equivalent of a beta (or, currently being tested for bugs) version of Minecraft's latest update. This snapshot is then made available to the public so that they can try out the features and give feedback to Notch and the team (the developers of Minecraft.)

I was only made aware yesterday that this latest snapshot was available so I will link it here, along with any and all future snapshots for ease-of-access. The reason this particular snapshot is of importance is being that it redefines the maximum height that you can build. Remember when you had mountains that touched the clouds? And from those clouds, you could build no higher? No more! Minecraft (as in this snapshot and soon the main game) will have -double- it's original maximum height. This means that those mountains can be -real- mountains touching the skies and beyond. It also means we can make towers that would make a giant crap itself!

Rather than bore you with my own personal reasons as to why this is freaking awesome, I'll let you try it for yourselves.
