** TLCG Team Tactical Tourney @ SUNDAY 6th MAY 6:00PM (AUS EST)

Hey guys.

So with our COD numbers ever growing (which is great to see) I thought it would be a good idea to get some more internal clan challenges happening.

So I figure we will have a 4v4 team tactical tournament on:

To Be Advised (see above poll)

Teams we be the first 8 players who turn up at the start of the session (we can always play as usual until we get 8 players on)

A draft will determine who is on which side (I will select a random no. from 0-100 and the 2 closest guesses will be captains and draft their teams, closest to the number chooses first )

If we have more than 8 player turn up, the extras will be reserves in case someone needs to leave mid-session (first come first served) unless we get 12 players on then they will be the 3rd team (16 players will be 4th team etc...)

If there is more than 2 teams, each team will play each other with the top 2 teams facing off in the finals.

Matches will be best of 3 games:
- capture the flag
- domination
- search and destroy

Captain who did not get the first pick in draft will choose the first map and game type. Losing team will then get to choose the following maps and game type...

There will be some basic rules and class restrictions, including no death streaks and some equipment bans ie no port radar, no machine pistols, etc (will prob use the same restrictions as per 2v2 comp)

Winning team will get bragging rights, losing team can lick their wounds. results will be posted on the forums.

Hope this sounds fun and it will be great if you can all be a part of it (even you BF3 guys who dont play COD much!)

I know whatever time wins will mean some of you wont be able to take part, hopefully if all goes well this will be the first of many internal clan activities and you can be in the next one!

Depending the success of this tourney, the next one can hopefully be on a day that you can play. Trying to just keep it simple by allocating a time and day rather than opening it up to everyone's schedule. Will see how it goes.

Yeah I hope it goes well. We have lots of new members I don't know and hopefully this will be a good chance for everyone to meet.

I will prov post screen shots of each game result and give awards to MVP etc. maybe even put highlights on the YouTube channel.

I will post a poll with various times. Will see what is the best day for a majority if people and go with that. As much as I want everyone who is interested to be able to play, we won't be able to please everyone. So let's see what the poll comes back with.

No time really suits me lol, i did put my vote down for 6pm-9pm on saturday night though, im assuming that is in Australian timezone though lol.
My daughter goes down to bed about 7.30pm NZ time but if its 6pm NZ time i might be able to jump on then.

Ive made a habit not to play my games around her.

I have a game recorder, which is ok (though it has to be recorded in av mode which isnt the best quality) so I can always record the game.....

Yeah I just thought that since our parties are getting larger in a consistent basis, we could do something other than free for all quick scoping.... Or BS infected games.... (that game still rages me)

If we end up recording entire matches we may have to add commentary to spice it up. But I'm happy to just troll theatre mode for highlights.

Im good for any time sunday and week nights.

Or we could get into a full team Ground war sometime if we have the numbers. Last time was fun.

we can do groundwar anytime, although im not always a fan as the host is usually shite and the spawn switching is always constant.... bah.....

Hey Conny , Will also be keen to join in i reckon Sunday evenings or Monday evenings would be best with quite a few people having sport on Saturdays then possibly a few drinks afterwards which equals fuzzy head and sleep in on Sunday morning, so most people should be right by Sun evening or Mon evening if it was a really big one Sat night ??

I agree I cant play once I get wasty as after a game of football haha jj but it does make sense
