** TLCG Team Tactical Tourney @ SUNDAY 6th MAY 6:00PM (AUS EST)

hey guys,

hoping to have this happen sometime this week/end so if you havent already, dont forget to vote (you can change your vote if needed)

we had a mini-trial 3v3 on the weekend which was a lot of fun.

- kicked_bear (not sure who he is yet)

first game was demolition which we won, second game was team defender where cats team won (after he got a juggernaught the cheeky fcker) and third game was an incomplete game of domination which is inconclusive due to team changes.

will see how the vote goes, again, if all goes well we can maybe make it more regular (il try and keep tabs on which teams go well etc)

also, i was thinking about maybe just Specialist packages an no assault/support.

that will just make camping, they will pitch a tent and nobody will come out till they are finished with the marshmellows...

Wortho about people camping dont know if much of the members have the patience for camping ?? , Def keen to play as well gutted i missed the 3v3 on the Weekend i was hanging around on Sun seeing if we would get enough people to have a few Team Tactical games

People who camp are going to do so anyways, regardless of specialist or not. I think getting the specialist bonus encourages moving around as it makes you a better slayer.
Also, with this it's all about the W. I could get 50 kills and still be pissed if we lost (I went 45-14 in kill confirmed on the weekend and lost cos I was the only positive person on team)

Anyways the poll ends on thursday so I shall wait to see what time wins. I won't be playing much over the next few weeks as the NBA playoffs have started and I will be watching the games in my free time. Brilliant comeback W yester by clippers !

The GF got rid of my sky sport last week...but i heard the Heat wont their game.

Im a huge nba fan aswell, am trying to focus on study, nba and rugby atm so won't be on as much nemore but still keen for team tac when ever it happens. ps. Go the magic home advantage baby.

i have updated the poll to limit it to the current top 2 choices, which will is:

anyways, poll ends on thursday, i will make an announcement on when then. if the vote results in a tie, i will use my new found blue font powers to make an executive decision.

Ok Gents, from the looks of the poll, our first TLCG Team Tactical Tournament will be this Sunday 6th May 2012 @ 6pm AUS EST.

A quick recap of what is planned!

- the first 8 players online who want to participate will make up the first 2 teams. All additional players will be alternates unless there is enough to make a 3rd, 4th etc team...

Teams will be selected via a draft by the team captains (Captains will be randomly selected).

teams will then compete in 3 game types

- Domination
- Capture the Flag
- Search and Destroy.

the maps and order in which they are played will be up to the captains.

if there is more than 2 teams, each team will play eachother once (i anticipate the 3 matches will take between 30-45mins to complete)

there WILL be class and equipment restrictions as follows:

- no assault package
- no support package
- no machine pistols
- no portable rader
- no javelin
- no second chance, dead mans hand or the grenade death streak

remember, all that matters in this tournament is the team win, individual stats will count for naught if you still lose...

results, awards, highlights, bragging and any trashtalking will be posted on the forums.

as this will be the first event i have organised and will be running, please be patient with me if i stuff anything up. lets focus on having fun and make this a success so we can have future internal clan events!

finally, if all goes well, the winning team may choose to remain together for the next tournament to defend their title.

Am away Fri and Sat night so wont be on PS3 but should be back Sun nite so might jump on MW3 for team tactical if the numbers need making up ! PS Will be very hungover so prob dont pick me for your team !
